Abstract
Ptilophyllum flora comprising Ptilophyllum cutchensis Cladophlebis denticulata, Cladophlebis Sp. Araucarites cutchensis, Araucorites Sp. (?) Elatocladus Sp. is reported from the buff siltstones and claystones of Dammapeta area, Chintalapudi sub-basin, Khammam District, Andhra Pradesh. The floral assemblage clearly indicates that the Dammapeta beds' belong to the Upper Gondwana, possibly Gangapur Formation and not Kamthi Formation (Lower Gondwana Group), as hitherto believed.Downloads
