Abstract

The Bouguer gravity anomalies of the Perinthatta anorthosite in north Kerala on the west coast of India are reprocessed by a new finite element space-domain technique in order to delineate the sub-surface extent of the anorthosite body. The residual gravity contour map and corresponding colour image brought out the configuration of the anorthosite body very clearly.
